Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was a member and the captain for the Fierce Five team in 2012 team as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the team floor as well as the individual competitions. Bronze was taken with using the balance bar. In 2012 she was one of the few American athlete to win the highest number of medals in the Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning gold in the team event, earning Gabby as well as Gabby the distinction as the first Americans ever to win consecutive gold medals for a team. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. After the 2 Olympics she took off from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Her favorite event is the floor exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years old. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. As for the future, she hopes to build a career out of fashion. Aly would like to extend her leotards line as well as her socks. Fierce will be out at the end of summer.
