She eventually ended up becoming the chef-in-chief at Butter. Guarnaschelli battled Cat Cora on Food Network's Iron Chef America 2007 Farmers Market Battle. Following her appearance as a judge on the Program the show in 2011, Guarnaschelli took part in The Next Iron Chef's fourth season, where she finished third. She also competed on the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast episode but was eliminated from the contest. After the fourth season, she was appointed Geoffrey Zakarian's sous-chef.
